The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, has departed for the city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. The summit will also feature the participation of other top world leaders, including Vladimir Putin of Russia, Xi Jinping of China, and Ebrahim Raisi of Iran.
“Leaving for Samarkand, Uzbekistan to attend the SCO Summit, which will see the sharing of ideas on a broad range of regional and global problems,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted. “The summit will witness the exchange of views on a wide range of regional and global issues.”
