CBI conducts searches on software businesses in connection with the Bengal SSC fraud, which included the manipulation of test results.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted searches at many software companies on the suspicion that they modified the results of an examination that was taken by the daughter of TMC leader Paresh Adhikari.
On Thursday, agents from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted searches at several software companies in connection with an investigation into a possible fraud involving the West Bengal SSC.

The result of the test that was taken by Ankita Adhikari, the daughter of Trinamool Congress (TMC) politician and former Minister of State for School Education Paresh Adhikari, is said to have been influenced by these software businesses, according to reports. Ankita Adhikari took the exam.

Following that, Ankita Adhikari was chosen to become a primary school educator.

However, the appointment was revoked by the Calcutta High Court, and Paresh Adhikari was requested to repay the basic wage she had been paid during the interim period before she was hired as a teacher.

The CBI initiated a formal investigation (FIR) against Paresh Adhikari and his daughter in May of this year. Adhikari and his daughter have been charged with dishonesty and cheating under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), criminal conspiracy under section 120B of the IPC, and corruption offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
